Well what a month this has been!  In case you have not heard,  TEAM JOHNSTON, after deliberation, consideration and due diligence, made the tough decision to leave Royal LePage Your Community Realty.  As of October 5th,  Trevor, Wade and I have become founding members of an exciting, innovative, tech-heavy new brokerage called RE/MAX PRIME PROPERTIES operating out of a spanky new office in the Boxgrove community of Markham.  Now don’t go looking for it yet because right now the office is in the design stage with permits pending from the City of Markham so we will be hanging out hats in the Team Kahn office at  Freshco plaza at Buroak and McCowan for a few months until our new digs are ready.

So why did we choose to leave a very good brokerage with a very astute and classy Vivien Risi at its helm ??     Well, for two reasons …   one,  RE/MAX  ITEGRA has placed a great deal of faith in the new owners of RE/MAX PRIME PROPERTIES, Asif Khan AND Jeff Ironi – to create a brokerage of the future –  one that utilizes cutting edge technology to assist the agents and clients be efficient, effective AND successful in all transactions.   TEAM JOHNSTON has always felt the same way –  that technology is a GOOD thing and should always be embraced not feared.

The second reason is that Asif and Jeff have placed a great deal of faith in TEAM JOHNSTON by inviting us to get in on the ground floor so to speak –  to help mold the brokerage’s vision into realty and to create opportunities for agents to succeed in a fresh, innovative, collaborative and positive environment.  This was an exciting opportunity that we could not refuse.
